Some people consult their doctors immediately when they feel acute pain in their backs! That's the smartest thing to do, since there can be risks involved. Back pain can be a symptom for many fatal diseases! One could also practice going to a physical therapist regularly, in order to be relieved from such pains. It's really not a good feeling, going to work while carrying a heavy load on your back.
